The KILLSTAR brand-universe is an invitation for people to explore, discover, and become who they are. We help affirm this invitation by creating an inclusive, supportive environment where our team members are embraced exactly as they are.
We are looking for a highly organized Social & Influencer Outreach Assistant to be the engine room of our brand marketing functions. Based in our Brighton HQ, you will report directly to the Brand & Marketing Manager and provide essential support to the rest of the team. In this role, you will ensure the seamless execution of our gifting and affiliate programs while acting as a vital link between the brand and our online community.
If this sounds like you, please read on!
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Order & Logistics Management: Processing and managing all gifting and campaign orders using our internal e-commerce and influencer management platforms.
Returns & Exchanges: Organising and tracking returns and exchanges, including the creation and distribution of shipping labels.
Inbox Support: Provide daily support for the influencer inbox, answering quick queries and resolving issues to build positive rapport.
Content Administration: Downloading, labelling, and uploading all received influencer content to our internal systems to ensure it is distributed to the appropriate departments.
Database & Outreach Support: Assist with growing our influencer database and provide support with outreach list creation for specific campaigns.
Asset Creation: Creating product collections on our influencer platform (GRIN) for creators to choose from and creating clothing PDFs to send to creators ahead of major launches.
Frontline Community Voice: Act as the heart of our "cult" following by building authentic rapport through comments and DMs, ensuring every interaction feels uniquely KILLSTAR. You will handle quick queries while keeping a pulse on the community to feed real-time replies and audience insights back to the team to maintain our cultural relevance.
Reporting: Track and report on gifting KPIs, including campaign progress, engagement, and order status to inform future planning.
Shipping Troubleshooting: Liaise with shipping couriers and our internal warehouse team to resolve delivery or customs issues.
Cross-Functional Support: This is not a content creation role; however, this position may occasionally support the social team on content approval, local content and talent shoots, along with the wider marketing team on seasonal press and influencer events.
WHO YOU ARE:
Organised: You have the ability to manage multiple spreadsheets, sample requests, and deadlines without breaking a sweat.
Detail Oriented: You pride yourself on having every "i" dotted and every "t" crossed, never missing an important fact, figure, or detail.
Socially Savvy: You understand social media etiquette and are comfortable interacting with an alternative "cult" following in a friendly, brand-aligned voice.
Reliable Communicator: You are excellent at keeping people updated about changes, and your written and verbal communication is clear and concise.
Adaptable: You are adaptable to last-minute changes and willing to embrace new ways of working.
YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
Working as part of a marketing or e-commerce team and completing administrative tasks.
Working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment and contributing to overall team targets.
Experience in a customer experience or liaison position, communicating with external partners via email or social media.
Familiarity with e-commerce backends and influencer management software (Shopify and GRIN) is highly desirable.
